Integrative dentistry is a method of delivering dental care based on the idea that dental problems can have an effect on overall health and vice versa. For example, a patient with dental decay may be more likely to suffer from chronic headaches or have trouble sleeping at night.
As an integrative dental practice, we can offer patients a complete picture of their oral health. We encourage patients to visit us regularly for cleanings and examinations. During these routine visits, we can identify problems such as gum disease or tooth decay. When these issues are found early, we can treat them with minimal intervention.
Benefits of Integrative Dentistry
One of the main benefits of integrative dentistry is that it focuses on more than just your teeth. It also takes into account how your mouth, teeth, gums, and other factors all work together to create total wellness. Integrative dentists are trained in healing the teeth and gums, providing preventative care, and addressing any underlying causes of oral disease.
