If you’ve recently given up smoking, congratulations! Not only are you improving your health, you’re also protecting your smile. Smokers have higher risks of dental problems and stained teeth.
Cigarette smoke can stain the surface of your teeth, leading to a yellow or brown hue. Smoking also causes bad breath and dry mouth, which can both contribute to dental problems.
Keep up with your regular dental checkups, and brush your teeth twice a day for two minutes at a time.
