What Happens During Galvanic facial procedure?

Galvanic facials use galvanic currents to help improve the appearance of the skin. These currents help promote the production of collagen and other compounds that improve the skin’s appearance. Galvanic facials are non-invasive and don’t require any downtime after treatment. Some patients experience slight redness or a mild tingling sensation, but this is usually temporary.

During treatment, a special conducting gel is applied to the skin. This gel allows electric currents to flow through the skin. The gel is then removed and the skin is treated with a galvanic current. This current increases blood flow to the skin, which promotes collagen production.
