There are a number of different types of sedation dentistry. Your dentist will discuss each one with you to determine which one is best for you.
Oral Sedation
Oral sedation dentistry involves taking a pill prior to your appointment. Typically, you'll be asked to take this medication about an hour before your appointment.
Oral sedation can help patients relax throughout their procedure. Your dentist will monitor you throughout your treatment to make sure you are feeling okay.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous oxide sedation involves breathing in a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide. This mixture can help with relaxation throughout your procedure.
