Your smile is one of the first things others notice about you. When you smile, you project confidence and happiness. These are two qualities that are attractive to those you meet. Smiling will also make you appear friendlier and more approachable to others.

Smiling is also good for your overall well-being. Not only does smiling make others perceive you as happier, it actually makes you happier. When you smile, your body releases endorphins, the hormones that make you feel good.

Smiling can actually lower stress and offer many other health benefits. It can help regulate breathing, ease pain, boost the immune system, lower heart rate, and release endorphins.

Smiling is contagious. When you smile at someone, they’re more likely to smile back. This helps build connections.
