Debbie Dye, DA, Office Manager
Debbie has lived in New Mexico since her high school years. She started her career in management and the service industry over 25 years ago. Debbie always felt like something was missing and decided to make a career shift, where she attended PIMA Medical Institute and earned her degree in Dental Assisting. She gained chairside dental experience as assistant but soon realized that she could combine her dental knowledge with her customer service and management experience.
Debbie is the cheerful voice you hear when you call our office. She makes sure that at all times, you can be confident that we will always provide you with our best services without regard to the limitations imposed by your insurance coverage. We are delighted that she is part of our team. Debbie’s goal is to provide the best dental experience possible to our family of patients.
Lee Medina-Gordon, RDH
With a different approach to dentistry, there is no exception to the experience in Dental Hygiene. Lee brings a Holistic and relaxing approach to care for your oral health. She will start your therapy with a head and neck massage, which enables her to check for abnormalities within these areas. Your time together will be guided toward a whole body health oriented treatment. She always finishes with a warm, lavender towel.
Practicing dental hygiene for over 12 years, she brings an experience to dental hygiene that is like no other. Her education from Creighton University and experience in her field enable her to provide you with the highest standards of health care. As a student at the Southwest Acupuncture College, she is working on her Doctor of Oriental Medicine (D.O.M.) degree. The future in health care is moving toward providing both western and eastern approaches to dentistry. She is a step ahead in the future of dental hygiene. Setting an example of overall health is important to her. Lee’s philosophy is, “The first portal to health starts in the mouth.”
Summer Bennett, CDA
Summer is the Head Assistant for Dr. Abeyta. She is a native to Albuquerque and received her degree at Central New Mexico Community College as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She chose to start her dental assisting career in Georgia. She decided that Albuquerque was her home and returned to gain extensive experience with multiple Doctors which allowed her to become knowledgeable in a range of diverse comprehensive treatment assisting, including TMJ therapy and complex case management.
She joined the team of Dr. Alicia Abeyta because she understands the value of a healthy environment for both the patient and other team members. Summer is a Member of the Dental Assisting National Board and is the Lead Assistant in the Sandia Au JRVT Gold Study Club. She is currently furthering her career with a goal in becoming a Dental Hygienist. Summer enjoys helping people become more confident with their smile and allowing them to feel more like themselves in the dental chair.
